Vapiano in Mannheim

Ah yes vapiano it was... The place where you get to clean up your own mess for once... Well at least they have fresh oil, spices and amazing workers! And gummibears for free... Bit bad when you are hungry and tired but ok I guess for the younger crowd that can actually carry a tray these days. Strokes say hello! But yeah.. No joke. Amazing stuff, great prices and I love the transparency (hehe but for real now... I've been on the inside and kissed the manager back then, where and who... I won't tell :P) They are clean enough for my standards and the food is good and fresh. Might do again after I am able to lift up my hands again... One day I might add!!!

I can only recommend the restaurant.

Queues = negative But where! IN WHICH RESTAURANT !; wait man not for the ordered !!!!! I was a total of before Corona ... never on toilet so I can't write anything about it. The tables are really not always and all clean, it would be good if MEN! sometimes handcuffs would not leave everything to the women !! Restaurant is always understaffed (staff) yes! ; but; Please put yourself in the position of the managing director before you scold soooo much. Vapiano has filed for bankruptcy in other cities / certainly not without reason !!!! Anyway, I hope that it will continue soon .....

In my opinion, very poor service. My boyfriend ordered pasta, and got it in couple of minutes. I ordered pizza, and I understand it takes longer, but not 1 hour longer. After ca. 40 minutes we went to see what is the issue, and the order was forgoten/not registered by system. And it tasted fine, tbh. The toilets were full of toilet paper everywhere, the hygiene was miserable. On top of it all... one glass of wine costed 8 e. Very overpriced for my taste compared with the quality of services they provide. Food : 3/5 Ambience: 1/5 Service: 1/5

You need to queue and wait for your food. Freshly cooked in front of you and put lotsa cheese. Delicious. Definitely will come again.

Delicious food, everything is freshly prepared. You have to stand and wait a bit, but it is a little cheaper than in a normal restaurant.

You actually didn't deserve a star for the service at the pizza counter. The staff only pushed my pizza in the open half an hour after I reminded them. Maybe it would be better for you to hire more staff because yesterday they seemed very overwhelmed.

Too few staff at all times. You have to wait too long. Likewise, there is always something missing to prepare the dishes on the menu; Sometimes they don't have garlic, sometimes they don't have spaghetti. It annoys me so much that I will not visit the Vapiano in Mannheim due to the poor management.

To be honest I was never disappointed from any Vapiano around the world, never walked disappointed, the same applies on #Vapiano_mannheim always good food, friendly service, nice atmosphere, definitely very highly recommended all year, they have a beautiful outside area in the summer always buzzing with people. I would seriously recommend to try and tell the cooks what would like in principle and let them get creative, and they are very creative very engaging with the customer, informative and very pleasant.

Very nice, just outside the pedestrian area. There are enough seats, and the preparation of the food is enough fast. The only inconvenient is that for the pasta you have to queue up and waiting at the desk until everything is ready, while for the pizza and the lasagne you can wait at your table. Anyway the quality is not bad, and the price acceptable.

I would like to say a lot of good things. But on the evening of my presence, it was full. That is not the problem, the problem was the long waiting times, I was made a wrong pizza (without which it was even partially filled) and cutlery was also empty throughout. When leaving, only one of the two cash registers was open, which created a long queue in an already narrow space. I really felt uncomfortable to be hit on all sides. (If you had just hired more staff for the evening it would have been much better)

I really like the pizza there! Only today it was maybe too full for the staff ... Cutlery was missing most of the time ... Food took a little longer (I can understand if it was so full) ... but everything else was wonderful!

The worst Vapiano I have ever visited. Usually it is a 4 or 5 star and I was looking forward to that again. Staff was not adequate, the pizza was limp and the Rioja wine came from the fridge and was about 8 degrees .... not 18 as the staff claimed. All paid and gone, once but never again this location, unless there is other management who takes complaints seriously.

Generally, I like Vapiano and this particular Vapiano is as good as any I've been to. I love the food. Pizza, noodles, salad... It does not matter... All good. But I must admit the staff in this Vapiano is very mixed. I've been here and they've been perfectly friendly and I've been here and thought "what the hell?" :)

Interesting way to run things in this restaurant- a bit confusing at first if you have never visited one like this before. The food is great, although the portions are rather small (as in the pasta I ordered) for the price. Other than that, I can recommend trying it out- very fresh ingredients and nice interiors.

Very good food, nice service. Unfortunately, it is always very crowded and if you have received your food, you have to push through the "waiting guests". Therefore, only 4 stars, with a kind of "run-in queue" would be easier to solve.Also would "terminals" where you can order your food, comfortable, then you do not wait too long, which can be stressful for older people but eat very well.

Great food and very professional staff.

This restaurant is good and must check out. You can find pasta, pizza etc. It is a self service restriction and has live counter. In the entry, you will be given a card which will be feed by the amount of the dish you take. One you are leaving the place, pay and walk out. Staff is friendly. I liked the ambience and of course the food as well. Located in city centre.

Not a good experience.unending queue.when reach our turn annaunced it is close.very frustrating.the risoto and the piza are excelent.the speaghetti and antipaste is not.the prices skyhigh.

Very good pasta, but you have to stand in the line for about 30min. Not that much fun.

Soooo bad!! If you want to stand in line one hour.... waiting... in line!! At least they should habe another Metod.... friday or Saturday in the night- dont come!!!! 3 cooks just for pasta and risotto... and they have to take the drink and put the order in the pc... is insane They even go and take things from inside—- nobody take that from them?? Or the whole things is to save money in personal Is unbelievable!!!

Avoid this branch

Over a few days tried a few dishes at different times as it was right next to my hotel. Pasta was very good, salad was very fresh. Arrabiata had a decent amount of spice but you can add chili oil at the table. Caesar salad was very good. Service is hectic and if you come here try to have the basics in German, it will make your dinner more pleasant. Cafeteria style is very fast when not busy and slow when busy.
